We had high expectations of this place due to the already high reviews and were not disappointed in the least! The food is prepared with such care, skill and intention and it shows. Its also packed with such delicious flavours and satisfies the stomach with how much you get! Were sad were just passing through and hope that SAJJ Shawarma eventually comes to Edmonton. In the meantime, well definitely be stopping by again if were ever in the area. SAJJ Shawarma is a new fave. It also helps that Ali is so hospitable. :)
I live in Edmonton and now i have a good reason coming back to whitecourt... Authentic and fast service! Presentation is on point varieties of dipping sauce with plates, fresh ingredients, taste delicious and fresh! Im definitely coming back!
Best shawarma I ever had anywhere. The homemade bread is amazing. Perfect combination of sauces herbs and spices, lovely fresh ingredients. I went for the kafta, would recommend. Very generous portion for only $10, could barely finish it.. No fries needed!

I had been feeling ill for a couple days and I'm extremely picky. I was only here because my wife was getting something. The cook had seen me looking at the menu in curiosity but I wasn't really interested. He came and asked if I've ever had shawarma before and I replied with a no. I started to explain what it was and everything but I still wasn't interested. (I'm extremely picky and almost never eat meat.) I told him it smells delicious and that was the end of that.A few minutes later he came back with a small sample and I reluctantly tried it. It was absolutely delicious! I immediately ordered a beef shawarma with no picky special requests and finally got food into me! This was some of the best service I've had in a LONG time
